They charged me $285 to tell me I should change my oil, and that spark plugs were due by mileage. I asked them to test if the timing chain needed to be replaced, thinking they would test the oil pressure at the top of the engine. I left extremely frustrated, feeling ripped off. For $300, they didn't even take out a spark plug due to "high risk of breaking". If professionals in a shop can't take a plug out for $300, I'd hate to see what they charge for work that requires more than a socket wrench and a can of carb cleaner. UPDATE: Both the owner and the service advisor I dealt with reached out and did their best to make sure I was happy. I was angry first thing in the morning when I posted this, but now U feel great about the knowledge and services offered here. It takes a lot to reach out and right a perceived wrong, but two people at this business selflessly did that. I didn't ask enough questions and make myself clear before I brought my my truck here, but they still respected how I felt about the process.
Hello Shawn, there was a little more work that went into your vehicle than that and the invoice was $218, not $285. However, I have reviewed the invoice and do agree that the incorrect service package was selected by my advisor. We’ll be in touch to remedy that situation. Thank You for bringing this to my attention as it will help us be better.
